Best Day of Pool
Today’s day of waiting for Michael took a turn for for the better. I went to Klassic alone at around 4pm after leaving Holland Village where I was working with Alex at the Coffee Bean.
I spent about 2 hours playing on my own. Then I went to join Jonathan and an uncle Lee (who I don’t really know). Yada yada… I was expecting to lose a great deal in guard when I joined them. But I endured my back pain, plus a super huge (I only knew how huge when I just saw it from the mirror) pimple at my butt.
It’s super painful, even now, sitting in front of the computer. (it formed because I spent too much time in front of the computer…)
Endurance. Even with no form, I won, because I didn’t give away any shots. I was lucky for quite a few times yep, but I didn’t let the opportunities slip away. (No form: I’m not saying this because I’m being boastful or whatever. I was really not on form, as I my aiming was really off. I did miss a lot of balls, but I just didn’t give any chances even after missing them.)
The session was really really good. I felt like as if my crappiest level of play has improved to a whole new level, because even under these conditions, I was performing extremely well. Previously, I could lose and keep giving away free shots even when I wasn’t under any pain or pressure. Speaking of pressure, the best part came when I performed a break-clear (it was the only one though
, but I’m still happy!) in front of everyone, because everyone just started watching me when I was up to my last few shots. Even my future school coach (NUS), Ricky Chew was there watching.
I was really impressed that I could make the last shot, that was pretty difficult because I misplaced the cue ball. The difficult was just tuned up a few levels because everyone was waiting for the result and watching closely. I had a really stuck-up face throughout my game, yep. Not because I was confident and proud but actually because I was really shy and nervous with everyone looking. It’s my way of handling the situation, to have a really stuck-up expression. Haha.
I’m so proud of myself.
It’s a really good achievement. Seriously. I went on to play with Michael and just got back home yep.
Oh let me another another point to justify the other players, they were really not in form either. So in that sense, I was lucky as well. And Roger is a really nice guy and player. He joined us later on yep. (my break-clear was actually during his session) He complimented on my pool, and I was really happy. (that sounds pretty gay, but I’m leaving it because I was gay, as in happy, of course)
During the whole duration, I couldn’t keep my baby company. I hope she forgives me for this, yep. I love my baby, Michelle.
