I recently saw a padded nylon microfibre tote bag at Project Shop, Paragon, by Property Of… and I fell in love with the material..
It’s really really light and yet padded (so no direct contact with sharp corners of objects inside, plus cushioning for stuff like laptops). I’m guessing it’s also resistant to wear and tear and water-proof. Good stuff.
I was shopping with Mike and Eric yep. We went to Actually… and I found a pair of 100% nylon microfibre berms.. It felt really light and good… Argh. But it was dirty green. Reminded me of military colours, and of my airgrading flight suit, which turned me off real bad. If only it was in other colours as well.. Like the bags at Project Shop where it came in Silver as well. The pants cost $160 a pair.
Oh well. The tote bag is quite small for me, but too large for my mum to carry, I feel. Arghhh…
And searching online for such stuff, it seems like a pretty rare material. Most of the results are track pants and cases for musical instruments.
